Planned AI and API access

The price-monitoring layer for AI assistants

AI assistants are great at finding and comparing products, but they cannot watch anything. No persistence, no thresholds, no alerts, and no verifying whether a price is still current.

TagDrop is that missing layer: it tracks products over days and weeks, keeps price history, and notifies when prices drop or stock changes.

Planned operations

These are planned capabilities for future assistant and API access. There is no public API today.

  • track_product
  • get_tracked_items
  • get_item_status
  • show_price_history
  • set_price_alert
  • find_lower_prices

What TagDrop does today

People can use TagDrop now on iOS, Android, and the web. The app is built for shoppers who want a product watched over time, not just searched once.

Track from a link or screenshot

Share a product link or screenshot with TagDrop and it will try to extract the item and price.

Price history and alerts

TagDrop stores price history and alerts users when the price or availability changes.

Honest status

If a site blocks checks or a price cannot be verified, TagDrop tells the user instead of presenting stale data as fresh.

Design principle for assistants

Every future response should carry freshness and confidence signals. An assistant should never repeat a stale price as current.

No public API exists today. There are no keys, no endpoint URLs, and no production integration available yet. If you are building an assistant, agent platform, or procurement tool and want early access, email support@tagdrop.io.
