1. What Data We Collect
TagDrop collects the following types of data to provide our price tracking service:
- Account Information: Email address and display name when you create an account
- Tracked Items: URLs you share with us for price tracking, along with extracted product information (title, price, images)
- Usage Data: How you interact with the app to improve our service
- Device Information: Device type and operating system for compatibility
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to:
- Track prices on the URLs you provide
- Send you notifications when prices drop
- Improve our price extraction accuracy
- Provide customer support
- Calculate your savings history
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using:
- Firebase/Google Cloud: Enterprise-grade infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit
- Authentication: Secure Firebase Authentication with industry-standard practices
- Access Controls: Strict access controls limit who can access your data
4. Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Active Items: Kept as long as you're tracking them
- Deleted Items: Permanently removed within 30 days
- Account Data: Kept until you delete your account
- Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for service improvement
5. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your TagDrop account and all associated data at any time:
- Open the TagDrop app
- Tap the Account tab
- Scroll down to Account Actions and tap Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted (you'll confirm twice, then be signed out)
What gets deleted:
- Your account and login credentials
- All tracked items and price history
- Notification preferences and push token
- Any uploaded screenshots
- Subscription data (active subscriptions will be cancelled)
What may be retained:
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics (not linked to your identity)
- Records required by law (e.g., payment transaction records retained by Stripe for web subscriptions, by Apple for iOS, by Google for Android)
Deletion is permanent and is typically completed within 14 days. You can also delete individual tracked items without deleting your account.
If you cannot access the app, email support@tagdrop.io with the subject line "Delete My Account" and we will process your request within 14 days.
6. Your Data Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data we have about you
- Delete: Remove individual items or your entire account (see above)
- Export: Request a copy of your data
- Correct: Update inaccurate information

7. Data Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We only share data with:
- Service Providers: Firebase (hosting), Stripe (web payments), Apple (iOS payments), Google Play (Android payments), RevenueCat (mobile subscription management) - only as necessary to provide our service
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
